Berry dominates Novice National Forensics Association National Tournament

Berry College recently hosted the Novice National Forensics Association National Tournament and won nine awards. The tournament is an annual speech competition for first-year forensics students. This year, the Berry College Forensics Union sent six students to compete. The team earned various awards in different categories, including 2nd place sweepstakes in Division One. In the PITCH, a "Shark Tank"-like competition, students showcased their entrepreneurship ideas. Students could pitch their ideas in two categories - the services division and the goods division.

Berry College student newspaper earns top awards in state competition

ROME, Ga. - The Berry College student newspaper, Campus Carrier, recently won 13 awards for journalism excellence in the 2020 Georgia College Press Association Better Newspaper Contest. The newspaper received third-place award for general excellence in its division.
